Tilia is the Latin name for the linden tree, which has always been a symbol of hospitality and harmony.
A place where you can pause and enjoy the moment.
The Restaurant Tilia awaits you in the park of the former Grand Hotel of Dobbiaco, in the middle of the Dolomites. With only 5 tables and a maximum of 12 seats, we warmly welcome you to our home.
Chris Oberhammer's kitchen combines modernity and simplicity, with a desire to redefine tradition.

Chris Oberhammer has designed the Tilia according to this desire.

Tilia is an elegant restaurant awarded with a Michelin star. It is the place where the natural foods of the Dolomites can be found. An idea that has matured in the years in which Oberhammer's experience has grown far from Dobbiaco, through the encounter with other cultures, styles and impressions.
Thus was born MONS natural food, a conscious commitment to enhance the work of mountain farmers. My main products are grown and raised in the immediate vicinity by the farmers.

Since the beginning with us and always strive to guarantee you the best possible service. Her career brought her to the completion of specialized training and today holds advanced training of various kinds. She has been trained as Sommelier Professionista A.I.S., Idrosommelier©, Bar Master and Aromatherapist. She gained her experience at home and abroad. Thus, the restaurant was honored by the South Tyrolean Wine Consortium 2018 with the Wine Culture Award.
Your well-being is of great concern to her.
The variety of the seasons
We work with local farmers who work and live in the region of the 3 Peaks, so we can include their products in our menu, which arrive in the morning and vary daily in type and quantity.
So unfortunately it is not possible for us to give a constant menu. You can choose from an à la carte offer as well as from our three tasting menus to be surprised.

Reservations
For better efficiency and convenience, we recommend you reserve your table ONLINE through our website Tilia.bz: the system will show you the first available day.
For the reservation a deposit of 50,00 €, per person, will be retained as security for your arrival. We remind you that you can cancel your reservation 2 days before and of course get back the deposit.
Once you have made your reservation, you will receive a confirmation email with instructions on how to make changes.
