2. General Information

We process personal data only to the extent necessary for the operation of this website and for handling reservations and inquiries. This is based on Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Italian data protection law.

3. Visiting the Website (Server Log Files)

When you visit the website, our hosting provider processes technically necessary data, such as your IP address, the date and time of your visit, the page you accessed, and your browser type. This is necessary for the operation and security of the website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, legitimate interest). The data is stored only for as long as necessary for this purpose.

4. Cookies, Statistics, Fonts

This website does not use cookies for statistical or advertising purposes and does not use any analytics tools. The fonts are loaded from our own server, not from Google. No data is transmitted to third parties when viewing the pages, with one exception: the reservation calendar on the “Reservation” page (see point 5).

5. Reservations through TheFork

For table reservations, we integrate the reservation calendar from TheFork. It loads as soon as you visit the “Reservation” page. This establishes a connection to TheFork’s servers, and TheFork may set cookies and process your IP address. When you make a reservation, TheFork and we process your information (name, contact information, date, number of guests, allergies and preferences, and payment details for deposit) to fulfill the reservation (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). The deposit is processed via TheFork and its payment service providers; we do not see your card details. Allergy information may constitute health data; you provide it voluntarily so that we can tailor the menu accordingly (Art. 9(2)(a) GDPR). For more information, please see TheFork’s Privacy Policy.

6. Making Contact

When you contact us by email, phone, or message, we process your information to respond to your inquiry (Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) of the GDPR). We delete it as soon as it is no longer needed and there is no legal obligation to retain it.

7. Gift Certificates

To purchase gift cards, we will redirect you to the website of our service provider, Bonkdo (tilia.shop.bonkdo.com). Their privacy policy applies there.

8. Storage

We retain reservation and billing data for as long as required by tax law; in Italy, this is generally ten years. We delete other data once the purpose for which it was collected no longer applies.

9. Your Rights

You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict processing, data portability, and object. You may withdraw any consent you have given at any time, effective for the future. To do so, please email info@tilia.bz. You may also file a complaint with the Italian data protection authority: Garante per la protezione dei dati personali, www.garanteprivacy.it.
